This is the first step in building process. Excavations are made based on the design documentation that is sent to the customer. There are the dimensions and depth of excavation listed. The excavation is also a place to store shaft technology (if included) and pipes, connecting pool to the sewerage.
Installation of drainage, i.e. dewatering base slab and surrounding of future pool, is not a necessary condition for building. Where there is an increased level of groundwater, impermeable subsoil or strongly fluctuating groundwater levels, we can only recommend installation of the drains.
In case of presence of groundwater, it is highly recommended to not install technological devices into shaft (plastic or concreted), which is placed on the level of groundwater or below it. There is danger of deformation of the shaft caused by groundwater pressure.

For proper installation customer shall ensure a crane for better handling of delivered swimming-pool. Shell of the pool is not very heavy (depends on type and size of pool), but it is quite bulky. Also distance from truck to excavation is important. In the extreme case, it is possible, after ensuring a sufficient number of people, to place the pool into the hole manually, but there is a significant risk of damaging the pool.
